We live in a society that ignores and judges our emotional energy.  When this emotional energy is not honoured, acknowledged and explored, it finds another way to manifest, impacting our relationship with both ourselves and others.

When our emotions are truly honoured and explored as they arise, we open to our true selves.  If you are like most of us, it is most likely your emotional body hasn’t been explored.  By this I mean, that you conscientiously allow yourself to feel the feelings (anger, sadness, fear, feeling lost, feeling stuck) that are expressing through you, and observe them. 

Can you be with yourself and the thoughts you think and the emotions you feel?  
When you open yourself to being vulnerable and allow the currents of the emotions to run through your body as you observe them, they transform in both presence and consciousness. Emotions are expressed in order to be experienced.  When you avoid this experience, these unprocessed emotions impact your wellbeing. They can accumulate in your body causing you to be irritable, resentful, stressed or depressed. Over time, they can further impact your body more profoundly by becoming real, physical disease.

No one taught us how to feel or process our life experiences.  When I learned to own and take responsibility of my emotions, I acquired the ability to communicate kindly; I stopped blaming others; I let go of the need to be right; drama was gone from my life and I enjoyed a natural positive way of being.  I learned to love my emotions, to connect deeper with them and with how they manifest in my body. I understood that emotions are opportunities to expand, to grow, to mature. They are also an invitation to do something different and take specific action. 

Experiencing my emotions also helped me create intimacy with my whole being.

I will help you learn how to process and experience your emotions in a positive and powerful way. Beyond that, I will teach you this process so that you can do it on your own as often as it is necessary, with the assurance that you will get insight into what causes a situation, as well as become emotionally sustainable and develop emotional intelligence.  When you are present for your emotional needs, no one or nothing will break your heart again. You will move from irrationality to reason, logic and right action, grounded in kindness and compassion.

Life may surprise you. However, as you develop the ability to process your experiences completely, you will simply move comfortably and powerfully to the next thing.

your session:

I begin the session, building up rapport by getting to know the client and learning more about what brought him/her to the session. Through active listening, questions and reflections, a desired outcome is identified. There is always an emotional aspect to an issue; these emotions (fear, anger, sadness, joy, disgust, surprise, trust, anticipation) need to be experienced.  When these emotions are explored (felt in the body) you create an opening, a release.  In most cases the cause of the pain or tension will be uncovered. Owning your emotions, taking responsibility for them, exploring them will create equanimity in your being.  This allows you to make decisions and move forward from a position of strength, focusing your actions towards the desired outcome.

When you use your our body as an instrument of consciousness, together with having a clear intent, you liberate energy that is locked in your lower three centers and move it up to the higher centers, where you can use it to heal your body, your mind or to create something new for the highest good.

With eyes closed, we invite all of the emotions to come and be present as you embody them. We tap into the body and explore the sensations corresponding to the different emotions - we make them bigger, we observe their texture, colour, shape, and we give them a voice as we breathe deeply through them.  As we follow the emotional currents, the client will experience a clearing, a restful place; it is at this point that we take the new feeling and sensation to all the restricted areas of the body visited before, bringing now the texture of the clearing and of lightness.

The purpose is to step away from the mind (to stop thinking) and allow the body to talk so that we can see behind distortion.

When the emotions are accepted, experienced and released, there is an opening, a relief.  From this space you can identify how the situation is interfering with your life (how you are losing power/energy over it) and also how to create a desire outcome (taking your power back).

I believe that learning how to manage our energies is one of the most powerful gifts you can give yourself.
