Empowered Hearts Mandala:
The mandala represents the heart, the universal energy of love. I see this energy as a garden that we all need to tend to.
By taking care of ourselves, loving ourselves unconditionally, learning and practicing forgiveness, developing compassion, empathy, kindness and generosity we contribute to the well-being of the universal garden of authentic love.
Emotional energy is a true motivator of the human body and spirit. Love in its purest form – unconditional – is the substance of the divine.
We are not fluent in love, but spend our lives learning about it. For most of us, our heart Chakra is closed. Remorse, sadness, bitterness, jealousy, envy, fear, luck of trust and commitment, betrayal, anger, hatred and the inability to forgive, have their origins in the past. When we experience any of the above our heart chakra is closed and in most cases there is a manifestation in the form of disease in our bodies.
Each of our life challenges are a lesson in some aspect of love. The energy of the heart focuses on our feelings about our internal world, our emotional response to our own thoughts, ideas, attitudes, and inspirations, as well as the attention we give to our emotional needs. This level of commitment to ourselves is the essential factor in forming healthy relationships with others.
